Google Wave aims to transform online communication
Telegraph: "Google has unveiled a new service, Google Wave, which allows friends to chat and share documents, links and maps in real time. The portal, which was unveiled to web developers at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco, is Google's attempt to 'rethink what a single communications platform might look like if we started from scratch'. It enables multiple users to swap photos, maps, videos, documents and other information 'live' over the internet in real time. Even instant-messaging style chats between friends will be in real time, with the Google Wave screen showing what a person is typing as they type it"
